Upon arrival, I assessed a System 2000 indirect water heater that was leaking water. The customer had already shut off the main water supply due to water spraying out of the unit. After thorough inspection, I confirmed the need for replacement. I then shut off the water supply to the heater and restored the main water supply to provide cold water. I arrived to perform an annual tune-up on a 5-head Minisplit system. After an initial inspection, I found that the living room head's blower wheel needed cleaning. Once the water supply was restored, we checked for leaks and confirmed the new valves were functioning correctly. Next, we installed the new water meter and meter horn, followed by an additional quarter-turn shutoff valve downstream of the meter. We reconnected the piping to the existing water outlet and replaced sections of the tees serving the vacuum breaker and cold-water inlet to the tank. After pressurizing the system, we verified proper, leak-free operation. We also added an extra pipe hanger and labeled all shutoff valves for easier identification and future service.

I began by carefully removing the old exhaust fan, ensuring no damage to the surrounding area. I inspected the vent pipe for any signs of mold or mildew, finding it to be clean and free of contaminants. I reconnected the vent and electrical connections to the new fan bracket, ensuring all connections were secure. The customer-supplied faucet was installed. After installation, the faucet was tested through its functions, and connections were inspected for proper operation and leaks. The dishwasher's cold-water supply connection was noted, but no changes were made as per the homeowner's request. The completed work was verified to be functioning correctly.

Upon arrival, I inspected the master bedroom unit, which was not cooling. I verified the thermostat was set to call for cooling. At the indoor unit, I discovered the Y wire from the thermostat was incorrectly positioned, preventing proper signal transmission to the board. I carefully moved the Y wire to the correct terminal.
